On the 14th July 2019 Eleven Sports Media will be celebrating its 10th birthday as a company. As we lead up to this special anniversary, read how Eleven Sports Media has provided cutting-edge, fully integrated partner programme solutions at stadiums and venues across the UK.

2009 was the year in which Eleven Sports Media began its journey in revolutionising the matchday experience for fans across the country. Plymouth, Bournemouth, Brighton, Norwich and Wakefield Wildcats RL were amongst the first names on a long list of clubs that have entered into a partnership with Eleven.

Eleven’s early days focused on providing the best partnerships across static and LED perimeter boards at sports rights holders across the UK, but in 2011, fan engagement in British sport was changed forever when StadiumTV,  Eleven’s first proprietary platform was launched.

StadiumTV was quickly established as the most sought-after fan engagement platform, with displays across more than 26 clubs installed in the first year of launch and many more bringing on board the platform over the next three years.

In 2014, Eleven took fan engagement up a level with the development of StatTV, a new channel to enhance the fan experience and promote a deeper engagement with the game. This hugely popular innovation, along with the introduction of crowd-facing LED technology increased the company’s inventory across sport.

The StadiumTV, StatTV and Crowd-Facing technology were integral in Eleven building robust local and regional partner programmes at clubs such as Swansea City, Bolton Wanderers and Middlesbrough FC, the latter which won the Football Business Award for Most Innovative Use Of Technology in Football.

Eleven Sports Media took that success of the local and regional partner programme and expanded the concept across a number of top flights clubs, including Watford, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United. Eleven were also appointed to manage the partner programme on behalf of the prestigious London Stadium.

By 2017, Eleven extended their reach beyond the matchday with the introduction of StatTracker, taking the live match statistics from StatTV and placing them into the heart of club social media feeds at clubs such as Leeds United and Rangers FC.

As we close on a decade in the industry, Eleven’s proposition has evolved from sophisticated fan engagement solutions, to fully integrated, end-to-end partner programmes. Working in tandem with the commercial teams across the spectrum of British football, Eleven now provide analysis, insight and activation expertise to help clubs further increase their commercial revenues.

With partnerships across football, rugby league, rugby union and horse racing, Eleven Sports Media are proud to have given exposure to thousands of commercial partners since 2009, from small local businesses to international brands – providing deeper connections with the passionate sports audience.
