Leeds based law firm, Clarion, is celebrating the first anniversary of its role as a Leeds United Business Club partner.

Clarion joined the partnership programme in 2020, prior to Leeds United being promoted to the Premier League. The company, whose brand can be seen on digital platforms throughout the stadium every matchday, is now an established name at Elland Road.

Taking care of clients’ legal needs in Yorkshire, and across the country, , Clarion has built a reputation for being a real Yorkshire success story, becoming one of the most respected law firms in the country.

In 2020, Clarion was recognised as one of the top five fastest growing independent UK law firms in The Lawyer UK 200, and, in the same year achieved accreditation as one of the Sunday Times ‘Best Small Companies to Work For’. The company reached eighth place in the prestigious rankings, becoming the highest placed Yorkshire business on the list.

Speaking of the partnership with Leeds United’s Business Club, Richard Moran, Senior Partner of Clarion commented,

“We believe that every business can, and should, play an active and valuable role in supporting the community in which it works. Leeds United does an excellent job in bringing the community together and, by aligning ourselves with the club, we can support the valuable work they do in the community.”

“We want to support organisations that promote the Yorkshire region and, by keeping in contact with the area’s business community, it provides a great platform through which we can help each other grow and bolster Yorkshire as a Northern Powerhouse.”

The agreement, which is managed by leading sports rights agency, Eleven Sports Media, means Clarion is able to reach out to fans in the stadium, and watching on TV, by delivering their message via powerful digital platforms throughout the stadium.

In addition to utilising high impact digital StadiumTV screens throughout the concourse and hospitality areas at Elland Road, the Clarion brand can be seen on the high impact mid-tier, crowd facing and shared pitch facing LED displays which are seen by huge audiences both in venue and watching on TV. Further adding to the company’s ability to reach the club’s wide ranging fanbase, the Business Club partnership means Clarion is also able to communicate its brand alongside live match stats delivered to fans via social media channels.

Clarion’s partnership with Leeds United Business Club comes as the company seeks further growth in the region, as Richard explains,

“We are a law firm that supports our clients by developing great relationships. For us it’s all about relationship. We know that strong partnerships create energy and deliver better results. We take our time to get to know our clients and understand their needs. It is important for us to ask questions, be curious and solve problems. We protect our clients where they need it and help them to prosper.”

In what Clarion hopes to be a long and productive relationship, the company has agreement to be a Leeds United Business Club Partner until the end of the 2022/23 season.
