Eleven Sports Media Celebrate Ten Year Anniversary With Blackpool FC Partnership


Blackpool Based Sports Technology Business Announced As Back-Of-Shirt Sponsor

Blackpool’s Eleven Sports Media are celebrating a decade of working with the biggest professional sports clubs by partnering with their hometown club, Blackpool FC, as the club enters a new era.

Based on Blackpool’s Whitehills Business Park, Eleven have been providing services to UK stadiums and clubs since 2009. Eleven are synonymous across football for their innovative fan engagement platforms, StadiumTV and StatZone, which feature at many Premier League stadiums, including West Ham’s London Stadium and Newcastle’s St James’ Park.

In addition to putting the Eleven Sports Media brand name on the back of the famous Blackpool FC shirts, Eleven will also make a significant investment in the club by bringing Premier League technology to Bloomfield Road, ensuring Blackpool’s fans are entertained by the very same content platforms which feature at the nation’s biggest and best venues.

Blackpool’s fans will enjoy StadiumTV, a bespoke club communication channel which will be found in concourse and hospitality areas, and features the very latest club news and information, social media streams, commercial promotions and related matchday content.

Bloomfield Road will also showcase the award-winning StatTV channel, which takes fans inside the action by broadcasting live and interactive match stats, focusing on the key players, head-to-heads and providing analysis as the game is happening. These stats will also reach Blackpool fans on the club’s official social media pages, with Eleven’s StatTracker content providing cutting-edge matchday analysis and statistics across Facebook and Twitter, this StatTracker content has never before been delivered at League One level.

Eleven work with more than 50 professional sports clubs and venues across the UK, with their award-winning platforms featuring in the Premier League, EFL Championship, the Rugby Union Premiership, Super League and the Jockey Club’s racecourses.

Eleven were established in a small office in central Blackpool on the 14th July 2009, and currently employ more than 40 staff at their headquarters on the outskirts of the town. In the last two years Eleven have enjoyed significant growth as their products and services are integrated into more and more clubs’ media and commercial strategies.

The partnership with Blackpool FC is Eleven’s very first investment in their local team and comes at a time of real excitement for the club, with fans returning to Bloomfield Road following the recent takeover by Simon Sadler.

Speaking about the partnership, Eleven Sports Media’s CEO Matt Cairns said: “Although the Eleven brand is widely recognised throughout the UK sports industry we’re perhaps less well known locally, so as we approach our 10th anniversary I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this than to feature on the famous Tangerine shirt.  Our business has been built on creating ‘a better matchday’ for UK sports audiences and there will be a particular sense of satisfaction in achieving this for our hometown club.
