Introducing Our New Partnerships Director – Ben Tunnell

Eleven Sports Media are delighted to announce the appointment of Ben Tunnell, former head of commercial development at Premier League Norwich City, as partnerships director.

The appointment comes as Eleven Sports Media enter their 12th season as global leaders in community driven sports partnerships, working with renowned rights holders such as Leicester City, Celtic, Leeds United, Norwich City and the London Stadium.

Matt Cairns, chief executive officer of Eleven Sports Media said of the appointment, ‘we’re delighted to welcome Ben to the business as partnerships director, where he and his new department will shape our global rights-holder strategy and acquisition moving forward.

As Eleven Sports Media continues to expand its portfolio across sport, both in the UK and internationally, we must also evolve our business operations. The formation of a well-resourced, experienced and accomplished rights holder department was a clear natural next step.

From the outset, Ben was identified as to being the leading candidate having led the commercial partnerships strategy at Norwich City, a club who excelled in the building of an award-winning and highly regarded community driven partnership programme who’s values match those of Eleven Sports Media.

On his appointment, Ben Tunnell added “I’m thrilled to be joining the Eleven Sports Media team. I was blown away by the ambition of Matt’s recently renewed long-term strategy for the business, and immediately recognised the potential in the role.

Eleven Sports Media in recent years has undergone tremendous growth and their position as global leaders in the development of community driven partner programmes for rights holders is irrefutable. I’m looking forward to telling that story across the sports industry and building upon the already impressive portfolio of rights holders.
