The Jets and Eleven Sports Media are teaming up to expand Eleven’s award-winning business model in the New York area, offering more opportunities for small to medium-sized businesses to build relationships with famous sports teams. The model, which is well-established in the English Premier League, MLS, and most recently the NFL, combines branding, experiential, and activation services.
Jeff Fernandez, Vice President, Business Development & Ventures New York Jets, commented “This partnership with Eleven comes at an opportune time. The Jets have a strong history of supporting and highlighting small businesses, and we feel this partnership will elevate us to the next level.
We’re excited to be offering the unique opportunity for small businesses to become partnered with the Jets through an award-winning program, which offers a comprehensive package for marketing and association.”
Through the partnership, Small Business Partners will see their brand in action both inside and outside of the MetLife Stadium each game-day with LED in-bowl, big screen, and entrance gate pylon branding, as well as social media content throughout the season.
Eleven’s innovative approach to activation and marketing is what makes Eleven’s offering unique. Eleven recognizes that small businesses may not have the in-house resources to fully leverage their partnerships. As a result, they have developed a unique activation formula that is proven to work and ensures that each small business partner gets the most out of their partnership.
Matt Cairns, Founder and CEO of Eleven Sports Media, said: “The Jets are a bona fide super brand and deservedly one of the most talked-about teams in the NFL right now. The organization is stacked with quality people who live and breathe Jets – it shows in everything they do.
Eleven is established in New York and has a proven track record of operating an already successful small business program in the tri-state area with New York City FC. The city is one we know and love, we understand the people and have already made a huge difference to the local business community of New York.
The Jets have a substantial local community footprint and a strong history of supporting its local communities, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. This goes hand-in-hand with our commitment to helping New York businesses succeed. We know that small businesses are the backbone of the city, and we want to do everything we can to support them. It’s an honor to be asked by the Jets to deliver this program.”
Jeff Fernandez concluded, “We’re excited to welcome Eleven Sports into the Jets family, and we look forward to building a powerful small business platform together.”
