Spencer Clarke Group, one of the UK’s leading recruitment agencies, has signed a multi-year deal to become a Leeds United Business Club member, in association with sports rights specialists Eleven Sports Media.
The agreement comes as Leeds United prepare for another season in the Premier League, following a successful end to the 2021/22 campaign.
As a Business Club member, Spencer Clarke Group will utilise Eleven Sports Media’s high impact digital fan engagement platforms, which are installed throughout the Elland Road.
Spencer Clarke Group will use their Business Club status to reach fans at every stage of the matchday journey. The recruitment specialists intend to use the platform to share their ethos of positively touching lives by connecting great people with great businesses.
With around 35,000 fans at every home Premier League match, the company aims to share its message with employers and job seekers to communicate the importance of choosing the right recruitment partner.
Spencer Clarke Group will use Eleven Sports Media’s digital platforms, installed throughout hospitality and concourse areas, as well as LED displays in the stadium bowl, offering the potential to reach tens of thousands of fans in attendance, as well as millions watching on TV.
The company will use dynamic crowd-facing, pitch-facing and mid-tier LED to reach fans with its message, and will feature on Eleven’s fan engagement platforms, StatTV and StadiumTV, which deliver compelling live content to engage with fans.
The agreement follows news that Spencer Clarke Group was shortlisted for Best Temporary Recruitment Agency and Small Recruitment Agency of the Year at the highly regarded 2022 Recruiter Awards. They were also shortlisted in the two categories at the Global Recruiter Awards and also at the Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) earlier this year.
Explaining more about the agreement, Spencer Clarke Group’s Managing Director, Mike Shorrock, commented, “We’re excited to work with Eleven Sports Media as a Leeds United.
Business Club member because we have the opportunity to expand our reach in the region and match even more businesses with the best talent.”
Explaining the value to businesses of choosing the right recruitment partner, Mike added, “We understand the risks associated with talent acquisition for businesses. The consequences for businesses which make ill-informed recruitment choices have a long-lasting negative impact. If a candidate is hired and they don’t align well with a business, the business will struggle to retain them which means they will have wasted time and money into a candidate, only to have to restart the recruitment process again. It is our job to ensure that this doesn’t happen.”
Mike continued, “We take the time to understand our clients and candidates, recognise their aims and objectives and then pair them with the right party. This removes the risk factor for both parties as the candidate is in a job which they love and the business can thrive through recruiting the right talent.”
Spencer Clarke Group is one of the UK’s highest rated talent acquisition partners providing specialist recruitment advice within eight divisions including Accountancy and Finance, Education and SEND, Construction, Trades & Labour and Surveying, Technical & Engineering.
Adding to news of the agreement, Eleven Sports Media’s Gary Holt commented,
“We’re pleased to welcome Spencer Clarke Group as a member to our long-standing Leeds United Business Club programme. A good recruitment agency is incredibly valuable to businesses of all sizes, and we are excited to help Spencer Clarke to share its values with the Yorkshire business community.”
“As a member, Spencer Clarke Group will have huge networking opportunities, at our regular VIP member events, which aim to build long standing relationships with like-minded organisations.“
