SCRS AND RANGERS BUSINESS CLUB PARTNERSHIP OFFERS SCOTTISH BUSINESSES A GATEWAY TO SUCCESS

Glasgow based payment technology provider, SCRS, has announced a new partnership agreement with the Rangers FC Business Club, as the company continues to help businesses across Scotland to successfully overcome the challenges imposed by Covid-19.

The partnership, which sees SCRS become a Rangers Business Club partner, comes as more businesses have been forced to adapt their traditional trading methods in order to survive lockdown restrictions.

One of those Glasgow businesses, Loop & Scoop, which is the UK’s first ice cream and churro bar, has seen business maintain a steady pace thanks to a new customer ordering and payment solution from SCRS.

SCRS provided Loop & Scoop with a brand-new app, available on both Android and iOS, which has enabled the retailer to totally transform the way it has done business throughout what has been the most challenging trading period ever faced by Glasgow’s small business community.

Calvin Kayes from Loop & Scoop commented “The new app ordering system means we can keep up with the changing restrictions – allowing customers to simply place their orders online and pre select pick up times for the order. This has helped manage customer behaviour and waiting times as the customers now know they can order in advanced and be assured that the order will be ready for collection without the need to be standing in crowded areas.

SCRS Director, Scott Kimm, commented “As a family owned EPoS supplier for over 45 years, our greatest strengths are our product knowledge and our ability to remain agile, which enables us to adapt to changing customer needs.

“The structure of our business also means we have the capability to deliver projects large and small, but always with a high level of service you’d expect from a family-owned business.”

One of the key drivers behind Loop & Scoop’s decision to invest in a new ordering system was the expert guidance from Scott and his team, which offered assurances they were investing in a future-proof system which can always be upgraded over time, no matter how the market changes moving forward.

SCRS has been a stalwart of the Glasgow business community for over 45 years and has recently entered a partnership with Rangers Football Club to become a Business Club member. The exclusive Business Club programme, managed for the club by sports marketing company, Eleven Sports Media, has enabled the company to extend its reach by aligning the brand with the famous Ibrox club.

Scott concluded “We’re really keen to help other businesses in the area. There is no doubt we’re in challenging times, but we’re here to offer help and guidance – even if customers are struggling with payment and EPoS systems purchased elsewhere, we will always endeavour to do the right thing by the customer. We assure all customers of our best attention at all times.
