Stoke City Associate Partnership Working Well For KPI Recruiting

Recruitment Company connecting with local area through football sponsorship

KPI Recruiting is developing its roots within Stoke-on-Trent by becoming a Stoke City FC Associate Partner. The recruitment company recently opened its central base in the city and has invested in football sponsorship to help reach out to local people. As an Associate Partner, the business engages with more than 20,000 supporters throughout every Stoke City home match at the bet365 Stadium.

Formed in 2008 by Ryan Jardine and Liz Howarth, combining their experiences within the industry, the pair started KPI Recruiting in Crewe, before expanding across the North West and into Wales. Delivering a range of jobs across multiple sectors, the business specialises in five key areas: industrial, commercial, driving, engineering, and care.

KPI Recruiting relocated to Stoke-on-Trent in 2019 and Marketing Manager Jenny Jardine explained why the company was keen to become associated with Stoke City FC:

“Our focus has always been to find people a job that they love and to deliver excellent recruitment services. We’re a local company with the ability to supply employees both locally and nationally.”, Jardine said.

“We’ve just expanded our base in Stoke-on-Trent, where we personally focus on providing permanent jobs. There are a few members of our company that are Stoke City fans. It’s quite impressive and the extra exposure we’re getting is really benefitting us. We’ve been behind the goal when Stoke have scored live on TV as well, which is a boost in national coverage that we wouldn’t normally get.

“It’s helping us get our message across to local people: that we’ve got jobs here and they’re ready to go. We had one client that was very impressed by our relationship with Stoke City and specifically requested that we advertise their jobs with us.”

The Stoke City Associate Partnership stems from an agreement between Eleven Sports Media and the Football Club. As an Associate Partner, KPI Recruiting see their company logo feature on pitch-facing LED boards, with the business also being displayed on StadiumTV and StatTV screens within the concourses.

Helping to reach out to a digital audience, KPI Recruiting sponsor StatTracker social media content, which is shared to the club’s official channels, connecting with Stoke City supporters beyond the 20,000 fans within the stadium.

KPI Recruiting are also invited to exclusive partner events, that have previously included a stadium tour and Q&A evening with club legend Terry Conroy, which allow the recruitment company to network with like-minded local businesses.

“It’s a way to help make us part of the community, having recently expanded in the area. It’s also a great way to meet new businesses and build relationships with people. Hopefully, it helps get our message out there to Stoke City fans, that there are variety of jobs available, if they’re looking for work.

“The partnership has definitely helped us to gain new business. It’s a great selling point when meeting clients, especially from within the Stoke area, to say that we gain extra brand exposure through our links to Stoke City.”
