The Lanarkshire-based retailer has built a reputation across the UK for providing affordable premium tools to the trade sector and DIY enthusiasts since launching in 2007. Toolstop plans to use its Community Partnership with Celtic Football Club as a platform for growth, and to communicate the company’s huge product range and fast service.

Toolstop will work with Eleven Sports Media, who manage Celtic’s Community Partnership programme, allowing the retailer to utilise a network of digital channels throughout Celtic Park to communicate with fans.

As a Community Partner, Toolstop will use high-impact perimeter displays and LED screens in the stadium, as well as a network of TVs throughout the concourses to promote regular discounts on big name premium power-tools, alongside its core message that Toolstop combines high quality with good value and excellent service.

Speaking of the agreement, Toolstop’s Sam Grant commented,

“As a provider to the construction and trade industry throughout Glasgow and across the UK, we understand the importance of building communities. There is a huge cross over between our customers and Celtic’s fan base and we’re delighted to be able to support the Glasgow community through our partnership with Celtic and Eleven Sports Media.”

“Being able to utilise digital channels throughout the stadium to deliver our message provides real flexibility. Our promotions and discounts change regularly, so it’s vital that we are able to update our messaging to reflect that. It also gives us a dynamic platform through which to communicate regular promotions, such as new customer discounts, free delivery, and ‘spread the cost’ financing offers.”

Fans are expected to return to Celtic Park next season, a move which Eleven Sports Media’s Jordan Wilson welcomes, commenting,

“We’re excited to welcome Toolstop as a Community Partner and we can’t wait to reunite them with fans on their safe return to Celtic Park next season. Whilst nothing compares to a packed stadium on matchday, the exposure that partners have with fans goes far beyond the stadium. As well as using digital channels throughout Celtic Park, our partners can reach fans via innovative StatTracker social media content which will allow Toolstop to align their brand with match stats and other engaging content.”
