As recently reported in Scottish Construction Now, Hibernian Community Partner Cullross has submitted plans to build 49 affordable homes in Fofar.

The affordable housing specialists agreed a deal last year to acquire the 3.5 acres of land situated beside Fofar Day Care Centre.

The proposed development would include a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses, three-bedroom garden flats and two-bedroom duplex units. The units will have private garden areas and associated amenity space along with cycle stores and recycling/refuse areas.

Mark Beaton, director of Cullross Ltd, said: “Cullross are pleased to have submitted a planning application for 49 affordable residential units. The proposals provide a mix of unit types to meet the housing needs of the area.

“The development would be contemporary with a simple and restrained palette of materials to allow it to sit well within the existing residential context.

“We have carefully reviewed the site constraints and developed our proposals which would, should the planning be approved, provide homes that are equally accessible, adaptable and within a safe and secure development.”

Cullross continue to show that they are a fast growing business of experts designing, developing and building new homes. Together with their growing team and associates, they create a complete development experience for clients and partners.
