PSV Eindhoven today revealed their partnership with prominent UK-based sports-partnerships pioneer Eleven Sports Media, launching an all-inclusive partner programme dedicated to the local business community of Eindhoven. The partnership will also see PSV become the first mainland European team to benefit from Eleven’s fan engagement technology.

Deep-rooted in the English Premier League and more recently breaking the US with numerous NFL and MLS teams, Eleven’s award-winning partnership model grants small to medium sized businesses the opportunity to align themselves with their local sports teams, through a proven blend of branding, experiential and activation services.

Philips Stadium will be the inaugural mainland European venue to feature Eleven’s innovative StadiumTV and StatTV fan engagement platforms, purpose built to enhance the matchday experience. PSV supporters in the fan and hospitality areas will be able to enjoy a more immersive and informative matchday experience, with a variety of match and player statistics delivered in their native language.

Frans Janssen, PSV Commercial Director, commented: “We’re incredibly excited to be the first mainland European club to partner with Eleven, and to see their passion come alive in the Netherlands, connecting the people of the region to the club that we are so proud of. The entertainment that Eleven will bring to the fan areas will be something new and innovative for our ticket holders. We’re excited to be the first to bring this to mainland Europe.”

Matt Cairns, Founder and CEO of Eleven Sports Media, said “We are thrilled to bring Eleven’s localised partnership model to PSV, our first step into mainland Europe. Our solution has proven successful in leagues around the world, and we know that it can deliver true value to local businesses in Eindhoven. PSV is the perfect fit for us, both Eleven and PSV share many of the same values, and like Eindhoven, Eleven is a pioneer in innovation.”

“When entering a new market, it is vital that our technology is accessible to all fans. Recent system upgrades mean that we can now deliver our fan engagement platforms in multiple languages, providing fans around the world with the best possible matchday experience.”

In addition to the Local Business Partner Programme and Eleven’s fan engagement technology, Eleven will play a leading role in supporting Jong PSV, as the official U23 Training Wear Partner.

Cairns commented “We are honoured to be associated with one of the best and most successful academy setups in the world. The list of players who have come through the PSV academy system is staggering, and we are delighted to have our name on the training wear of the future stars of Jong PSV and play an important role in supporting the team.”

Janssen concluded, “The ambition is to see this partnership grow. This is a long-term relationship, and we can’t wait to see the Local Business Programme and Eleven’s technology delivering to our fan base and local community.”
