Eleven Sports Media, the global leader in community-driven sports partnerships, has been shortlisted for two categories in the prestigious 2022 UK Social Media Awards. 

Eleven’s StatZone is up for two awards: Best Audience Engagement Campaign and Most Impactful Social Media Innovation.

When football grounds were closed during the pandemic, Eleven moved quickly to provide media services to sustain commercial partnerships all over the UK.

Eleven turned to its technology to take information from Opta and deliver bespoke, stats-based content to partner clubs for use across their social media channels. The technology behind StatZone ingests data feeds from Opta and automatically generates eye-catching infographics.

These social media assets incorporated messaging and branding from regional partners and were seen by an audience far beyond that of a usual physical matchday. Over the course of the pandemic, Eleven’s StatZone team created thousands of pieces of content that it was able to distribute for its network of clubs.

The 2022 UK Social Media Awards take place on September 8th and will recognise the very best campaigns and innovations from the UK’s thriving social media ecosystem.
