Supermac Puts On Five Star Performance In Newcastle

Guests at The Newcastle United Executive Club Directors’ Dinner were in the presence of true Magpie greatness on Wednesday evening as they were entertained by the legendary former striker Malcolm ‘Supermac’ Macdonald.

Macdonald was the guest of honour in front of almost 100 regional business leaders as the Newcastle United Executive Club partners convened for an evening of fine dining and entertainment at the luxurious Vermont Hotel.

The former England striker told tales of Sir Bobby Robson, his early career at Luton Town, hero worship at Newcastle United and of course the inside story of that historic night when he scored five goals in one game for the England National Team.

The event was hosted by comedian Pete Emmett and saw John Beasley from Washington Direct Mail win a signed shirt and Roly Craig from Newcastle Royal Grammar School claim a bottle of Slingsby craft gin.

Eleven Sports Media manage the regional partner programme at St James’ Park in association with Newcastle United. Partners receive extensive digital branding opportunities within the stadium and on the club’s official social media channels, as well as invitations to exclusive partner events and use of official partner designation.
